Arkansas Governor Sarah Sanders announced several appointments including the appointment of new justices of the peace.

Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders announced the following appointments:
Benton County Quorum Court
Jacob Jeanson, Bentonville, to serve as Justice of the Peace for District 9, for Benton County. Term expires December 31, 2026. Fulfills the remaining term of Gregory Woodell.
Howard County Quorum Court
Kellyjo Ogé, Nashville, to serve as Justice of the Peace for District 7, for Howard County. Term Expires December 31, 2026. Fulfills the remaining term for the unfilled position.
Lawrence County Quorum Court
Matthew Cox, Walnut Ridge, to serve as Justice of the Peace for District 4, for Lawrence County. Term expires December 31, 2026. Fulfills the remaining term of Stephen “Heath” Davis.
Perry County Quorum Court
Robert McCully, Bigelow, to serve as Justice of the Peace for District 6, for Perry County. Term expires December 31, 2026. Fulfills the remaining term of Mary Gipson.
Pope County Quorum Court
Leonel Cantu, Russellville, to serve as Justice of the Peace for District 11, for Pope County. Term expires December 31, 2026. Fulfills the remaining term of Lane A. Scott.
St. Francis County Quorum Court
Leodis Williams, Forrest City, to serve as Justice of the Peace for District 10, for St. Francis County. Term expires December 31, 2026. Fulfills the remaining term of Kendall Owens.
