Medical Marijuana in the Workplace

Arkansas voters approved the legalization of medical marijuana in the November 2016 general election. Understandably, employers have questions about how this move will affect their workplaces. Therefore, the AAC hosted a Medical Marijuana in the Workplace seminar on July 18, 2017. The event featured four speakers who discussed the intersection of state and federal laws; employment and drug testing policies; anticipated areas of litigation and lessons learned from other states; and compliance with new state laws regarding medical marijuana.

For those unable to attend the event, we offer a video of the day's discussion.

In addition, you may download the presenters' Powerpoint presentations and other handouts. (See sidebar.)
