Jefferson County is launching a new initiative with hopes of delivering families from crisis to stability to a career.
The 100 Families Initiative is set to launch Wednesday, February 26, at Southeast Arkansas College in Pine Bluff.
100 Families Initiative is a program that first launched six years ago in Sebastian County.
"Because no single organization can meet all the needs with family crisis, this initiative is all about collaboration among those in the community," said Paul Chapman, executive director of Restore Hope. "The data-driven HopeHub software allows communities to track outcomes so they can assess and enhance their impact."
Recently, the 100 Families Initiative has gained international recognition and has been adopted in communities beyond The Natural State, such as areas in Lansing, Michigan, and Grand Prairie, Canada.
Since its start in Sebastian County, the 100-family initiative has increased its presence in Arkansas to 19 counties.
