County dedicates facility to Pat Moore

The facility is named the Patrick F. Moore Building to honor Moore's tireless efforts that led the county getting it.

Family, friends and colleagues of the late Faulkner County Coroner Pat Moore joined local leaders in honoring him during a dedication ceremony at the Office of the Coroner on Tuesday.

County Judge Jim Baker said that it was fitting to name the facility the Patrick F. Moore Building because it was Moore’s tireless efforts that led to the county getting it.

Moore’s widow, Leslie, remembered his work before the facility opened.

“His office was either his truck or our house depending on where he happened to be,” she said. “He just stepped up along the way until we got to this building. When Judge Baker told him he would buy this building, it got Pat a new heart; it meant that much to him. Read more.
