Baxter Co. staff participate in polar plunge event

Staff from the Baxter County and Circuit Clerk's Office recently participated in the Mountain Home Polar Plunge Event. Raising more than $2,500 for Special Olympics Arkansas, the group was the highest fundraising team at the event. Overall, the event raised $12,651 for Special Olympics Arkansas. "I'm so proud of my staff for participating in this event! There was still snow on the ground, and temps were in the 30s when they plunged in the freezing waters of Norfork Lake," said Baxter County & Circuit Clerk Canda Reese.
