Ingram receives Borden-McClendon Scholarship

Logan Ingram receives the Borden-McClendon Scholarship from the Assessors' Association.

The Arkansas Assessors’ Association recently announced that Logan Ingram has received the 11th annual Borden-McClendon Scholarship for 2017-18.

The scholarship is worth $1,000 and is awarded by the Arkansas Assessors’ Association to a child, grandchild or great-grandchild of an Arkansas assessor’s office employee.

Ingram is the son of Randolph County Assessor Stacy Ingram. He plans on attending the Missouri University of Science and Technology and majoring in geological engineering.

The Borden-McClendon Scholarship, created in 2006, honors two Arkansas assessors the late Edgar Borden of St. Francis County and the late Johnny McClendon of Lee County.

The Arkansas Assessors’ Association has awarded $10,000 to students since the scholarship fund’s creation.
